Hammer/Drill switch did not function out of box. Two speed switch did not function out of box. I did not know how to give Zero stars but that is what this product deserves. There is NO excuse for this kind of shoddy quality/workmanship. I also recently purchased a Bosch (Dremel) rotary tool that failed after two minutes of use. Returned for repair and it once again failed in less than two minutes. I threw it in the trash. I should have learned my lesson about Bosch quality then. Be assured I will never order another Bosch product!!

The name says it all, i bought this product based on previous reviews and was not disappointed, another fine quality Bosch product at an excellent price. I'm glad i bought this on Amazon/CPO Bosch because where i live i would have ended up paying double the cost locally.

I bought this drill just to put in Tapcons. Previously it took me 2 minutes or more, with a lot of muscle power, to drill the hole for a Tapcon. With this drill it literally took 15 seconds. It's powerful and feels good in my hands. I highly recommend it for anyone doing any type of drilling in concrete. And it's a Bosch so you know it's great quality.

I had to put in six basement windows in concrete. I took out the old window and frame which left just a concrete frame. I read these reviews about hammer drills and picked this one. I needed to put a board on each side of the concrete, measure the height and cut two pieces of treated lunber to fit the sides of the hole. I drilled starter holes through the boards and then held one at a time to the side with help from my son. I took the boards away and drilled the rest of the hole with the Bosch hammer drill. I used just enough pressure to feel the drill, drilling into the concrete. It made the holes in the concrete real easy. I took the boards and used tapcon screws and screwed the boards into the concrete frame. I went to a store which sold windows and bought a replacement window and then brought it home and then nailed it to the boards. Then it was just a matter of making a frame around the replacement window, using the hammer drill when I needed it. I have since put in 5 more basement windows. The Bosch hammer drill makes put in basement windows real easy. The best investment I made for putting windows in concrete was the Bosch hammer drill. I learned to become and expert, since putting in the first window. If ever I have to take them out, it will be real easy. I recommend that anyone putting in basement windows to buy this drill. It worked great, I had never used a hammer drill before. 5 stars.
